BIOS


Biz Breeland

Biz Breeland is our no-nonsense Founder and Principal Account Director, constantly pushing us to consider fresh, new ways to assess a clients’ needs and deliver dynamic, brand-expanding results. Her innovation, vision and always-collaborative approach with each and every client makes Biz the creative and strategic driving force behind our success.

Born and raised right here in Louisville, Biz is a graduate of the University of Georgia with an International Business BBA and a minor in French.  She has traveled extensively throughout the world; at various times calling both New York City and Maui, Hawaii, home.  Prior to founding Papillon Collective in 2009, her career included executive sales management and marketing positions in which her varied responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and creation of products - from concept to consumer. She is also experienced in the design and implementation of branding initiatives for government agencies, nonprofit organizations and various corporations.

Biz loves to cook, practice yoga, is an unrivaled hostess and passionate traveler.  She enjoys both the beach and spending time at home in Louisville with friends, her husband Brough, and her growing family. She can be reached at bizbreeland@gmail.com

Shelley Reynolds

Shelley Reynolds joined Papillon Collective in 2013 as Account Director, and quickly became our clients’ go-to-gal for everyday marketing needs. Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky (2002) and an MBA in Marketing from Murray State University (2004).

Before joining Papillon, Shelley spent three years as Marketing Co-Director & Brand Manager at an international eyewear company, where she was responsible for marketing the sunglass and optical collections - both domestically and abroad - for such brands as Vera Wang and Lilly Pulitzer. Prior to this, she spent four years in Munich, Germany, where she served as Marketing Director for the Nordic countries, Belgium, Netherlands, the UK and Ireland at one of the largest asset managers in the world - Allianz Global Investors.

Shelley speaks German in addition to her native (Western Kentucky-twanged) English, is particularly passionate about creative copywriting, and has contributed to articles in Insider Louisville. She fancies herself a foodie, which really just means that she likes to eat, and enjoys globetrotting with her husband Tom, reading, biking and admiring all things creative. Hilary Vonderheide


Hilary joined Papillon Collective in June 2016 as an Account Manager. She enjoys working with our clients, creating captivating content for social media, collaborating on creative opportunities and putting together marketing strategies to work for the long term. Previously, she was the Marketing Representative for restaurant technology company QSR Automations, Inc. as well as a Freelance Stylist for companies including Amazon and NFocus Magazine. She is a Louisville Native and University of Kentucky grad with a degree in Creative Advertising and Integrated Strategic Communications.

Hilary loves to travel, especially to Ireland where she fell in love with the culture and people while studying abroad. She enjoys trying out new restaurants, trail running and hiking, knocking out home improvement projects, needlepointing, going to the theatre, and spending time with her large extended family and other half, Zach.
